Delia C. Salinas

​San Diego, Texas:  Delia C. Salinas 75, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at her residence in San Diego, Texas.  Delia was a Homemaker most of her life and enjoyed taking care of her family and was an outstanding cook. Her kitchen was always open to her family and friends.  She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and great-aunt and her pleasure in life was to spend quality time with her son. She also loved to work in her yard and decorate for different occasions. She would not let you leave her home without a blessing to her family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Rafael Salinas Sr. and Vicenta C. Salinas, one sister Martina S. Cantu, brothers Mario C. Salinas, Arnoldo C. Salinas, Rogelio C. Salinas, Rafael G. Salinas, Reymundo G. Salinas, and Ricardo G. Salinas, sister in law Josefa Salinas.  She is survived by her son Arnoldo Salinas, two brothers Servando C. Salinas of San Diego, Juan Carlos Salinas Sr. of Alice, two sisters Corina C. Salinas of San Diego, Leocadia Morgan of Orange Grove, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Saul O. Salinas, Javier O. Salinas, Ramon R. Salinas, Juan C. Salinas, Jr., Kenneth Salinas and Erasmo Cantu.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2020 to begin at 4 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. that same evening at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday. June 1, 2020 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church and burial/ *** POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER will follow at the San Diego Cemetery. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes entrusted with the arrangements.
