Freer, Tx. -David Cavazos, Sr. passed away on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at his residence in Freer surrounded by his family. David worked for Haps Well Service and Eagle Well Service for many years. He also worked for Key Energy Services in Freer and was a dispatcher for 15 years. David enjoyed and loved fishing, baking, cooking, welding, sewing, and a great handyman. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his Father Isidoro Cavazos, Mother and Father in Law Manuel and Maria Estrada, his Grandparents in Law Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas Villarreal. David is survived by his wife of 42 years Maria Cavazos of Freer, son David ( Andrea) Cavazos, Jr. of Freer, six daughters Ana Lisa Vasquez (+ Arnold ) of Freer, Irene (Santana Jr.) Garcia of San Diego, Rachel (Jimmy) Aguillon of Freer, Tina Cavazos (Allen Dismang) of Freer, Lee Ann Cavazos (Guadalupe Perez) of Freer, Alicia Ramirez (Danny Gonzalez) of Freer, His mother Elma Lichtenberger (+Nicolas Lichtenberger) of Freer, five brothers Manuel (Nellie) Cavazos of Houston, LoLo (Gracie) Cavazos of Floresville, J.D. Lichtenberger of Freer, Nick (Oralia) Lichtenberger of San Antonio, Rick (Anna) Lichtenberger of Alice, sister Consuelo (+ Librado) Bazan, brother in law Manuel (Connie) Estrada of Freer, sister in law Yolanda Rincon of California, 21 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Gilbert Cantu, Danny Cantu, Jordan Cavazos, Isidoro Cavazos, Arnold Vasquez, Jr., Byan Garcia, Lupe Perez and Miguel Bazan Honorary Pallbearers: Jacob Perez, Jim Ray Aguillon, Alejandro Gonzalez, L.J. Garza and Adrian Cavazos Visitation will be held on February 9, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego, Rosary will be celebrated at 7 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday February 10, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church and Burial will follow at the Hahl Memorial Park Cemetery in Freer, Texas. Mauro P.
