Corina Cantu Salinas

San Diego, Texas – Corina Cantu Salinas, 75 years of age passed away on Thursday August 31, 2023, in a Corpus Christi hospital surrounded by her family. Corina was a retired SDISD employee for many years. She loved being around her family. Corina was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who will sadly be missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Rafael Salinas, Sr., and Vicenta Cantu Salinas, two sisters: Martina S. Cantu, and Delia C. Salinas, seven brothers; Mario C. Salinas, Arnoldo C. Salinas, Rogelio C. Salinas, Rafael G. Salinas, Jr., Raymundo G. Salinas, Ricardo G. Salinas, and Juan Carlos Salinas, Sr. She is survived by a nephew who was raised as a son; Arnoldo Salinas, her brother; Servando C. Salinas, her sister; Leocadia Morgan, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Arnoldo Salinas, Juan C. Salinas, Ramon R. Salinas, Saul O. Salinas, Javier Salinas, Jr, and Kenneth Salinas.

Visitations will be held on Tuesday September 5, 2023,  with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00am at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel - in San Diego, Texas. Burial to follow at San Diego Cemetery, San Diego, Texas.
