Cecilia R. Contreras

San Diego, Texas - Cecilia R. Contreras, 62 years of age passed away Tuesday October 5, 2021 in a Corpus Christi hospital after a short illness. She was a retired school custodian for the SDISD for many years. Cecilia enjoyed dancing, shopping and taking road trips. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, aunt and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by parents Guadalupe and Genoveva Casas Ramos. She is survived by her husband Antonio Contreras, two sons Trey Contreras and Andrew Contreras, one daughter Sierra (Catrina Castillo) Contreras, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Friday October 8, 2021 at 4-9p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday October 9, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with burial to follow at the San Diego Cemetery.
