Cecilia B. Garza

Cecilia B. Garza-89 years old passed away Tuesday January 2, 2018 at her daughter's residence after a long illness. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents Eulalio and Eustolia E. Benavides, her loving husband Benito A. Garza, one brother Porforio Benavides, two sisters Gregoria Ramirez and Aminta Morin. She is survived by her companion Gregorio Longoria of San Diego, Texas, one daughter Odilia (Tito) Barrera of Alice, Texas, three grandchildren Victor Barrera of San Antonio, Texas, Cynthia (Ray) Guerra of Alice, Texas and Lynda (Jason) Bolitho of Argylle, Texas, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Friday January 5, 2018 at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 11:45 a.m. at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church in Benavides, Texas. Burial will follow at the Benavides Cemetery in Benavides, Texas.
