Aurora C. Gonzalez

Banquete, Texas - Aurora C. Gonzalez, 94 years old passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 in an Alice hospital after a short illness. She was homemaker and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Aurora will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Baudelia H. Casarez, her husband, Fabian G. Gonzalez, one son-in-law, Leandro Rodriguez, two grandchildren, Frankie Ozuna III and Adolfo Gonzalez, Jr., one brother Casimiro Casarez and one sister Lily Castro. She is survived by her three sons, Tomas (Yolanda) Gonzalez of Alice, Texas, Ricardo (Molly) Gonzales and Adolfo C. Gonzalez both of Banquete, Texas, three daughters, Thelma (Frank) Ozuna of Houston, Texas, Maria Rodriguez of Alice, Texas and Lydia G. (Marty) Lopez of Banquete, Texas, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church in San Diego and burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery # 2, San Diego, Texas.
