Anita R. Garcia

​Alice, Texas - Anita R. Garcia, 88 years passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 in an Alice Nursing Home. She was a homemaker. Anita was a lovely daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will sadly be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her biological parents , father, Fermin Trevino, mother and husband Eligia (Benito) Valenzuela and raised by  Macedonio and Anita Robles, her husband, Simplicio "Tito" Garcia, two brothers, Pedro "Pete" Trevino and Eliberto Robles, three sisters, Estanislada Contreras, Maria DeLeon and Herlinda Soliz. She is survived by her daughter, Anna Louisa (Ramon) Perez of Alice, Texas, three grandchildren, Antonio (Stephanie) Ramon Perez of Seguin, Texas, Anissa (Rick) Rianna Chavez of McAllen, Texas and Arianna Perez of Alice, Texas, two great-grandchildren Ben and Sam Chavez, two sisters, Aurora Cyprus of Kenner, LA. and Maria Eligia (Robert) Rivera of Irving, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitations will begin on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 10 a.m. and Funeral Mass to follow at 10:20 a.m. that same morning. Burial will follow at New Collins in Alice, Texas. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes entrusted with the arrangements.
