Alice, Texas - We are sad to announce the death of Angelita Salazar Perez, who passed away in her home in Alice, Texas. She died at the age of 73 years old on November 22, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones after battling an illness. She loved watching football, and gambling in Kickapoo as well as spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; Guadalupe and Margarita Flores Salazar, three brothers; Oscar Paz, Mario Paz, and Luis Paz; two sisters; Otilia Torres and Delia Gonzalez. She is survived by her husband of 50 years of marriage; Ramiro M. Perez; five children, Hector (Mary) Salazar, Margie (EJ) Perez, Ramiro (Tabitha) Perez, Melissa (Peter) Abreus, and Rene (Jessica) Perez, fifteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a sister; Diana Heras, numerous nieces, and nephews. Visitation will begin on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in Alice, located at 600 South Wright Street, with a Rosary to be recited at 11 a.m. by Deacon Celestino Perez. All services will conclude after Rosary. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.

My sincerest condolences to the Perez family in their loss of their loved one. Angie was a very nice and friendly person who I had the pleasure of working with her at the Walmart store on Houston Street. Fly high with the angels 😇, Angie you've earned your heavenly wings. Until we meet again in the kingdom of heaven ✨️.
