San Diego, Texas - Andrea Arredondo Bernal, 57, peacefully entered the gates of heaven on July 10, 2021, after a long illness. She was a loving caring devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, and friend. She was a remarkable wonderful woman who was loved and adored by all who knew her. She was a doting grandmother who would always speak highly of her grandchildren, they were her most precious jewels. She will always be remembered for her will to help others, most especially for caring for her children and grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews as well as their children. She is now at peace resting eternally, free of pain and illness, angelically flying amongst the heavenly clouds with her dearly departed loved ones. She will be sadly and immensely missed. Andrea was truly everyone’s Anti. She is proceeded in death by her husband David V. Bernal, a granddaughter Jorgella Davina Saenz, a grandson Matthias Jessiah Romero, and her parents Ella and George Arredondo. She is survived by two daughters: Jessica Yvonne Bernal and Samantha (Joel) Saenz, one son: David (Vanessa Diaz) Bernal, Jr., Grandsons: Christopher Nethaniel Romero, Zachary Ellijah Romero, Dominic Dustin Romero, and Mark Anthony Corona; Granddaughters: Ella-Nissa Areyna Romero, Joella Renesmee Saenz, Dezalyn Danyelle Saenz, Victoria Isabella Gaza, Valerie Nicole Gaza, Meagan Renee Barrientes, and Nina Grace Barrientes; sisters: Marlena (Artemio) Lopez of Morrisville, NC and Helga (Julian) Martinez of Falfurrias, TX, one brother Georg Arredondo of San Diego, Tx. Nieces: Lisa Anna Arredondo, Sandi Ann Lopez, Jennee Martinez, and Mariah Martinez; Nephews: Miguel Andres Arredondo; Artemio Lopez, Jr.; George Miguel Lopez; and John Edward Corona, Jr. Great-nieces and nephew: Cecilia Annaliz Young, Ezmae Marlena Rose Lopez, Julianna Rose Yeaw-Arredondo, and Michael Sebastian Mendez. Plus, numerous loving relatives. Serving as active Pallbearers: Dominic Romero, Christopher Romero, Zachary Romero, Michael Mendez, David Bernal, Jr., Mark Corona, George Lopez, Artemio Lopez, Jr., and Joel Saenz. Visitation will begin on Wednesday July 14, 2021, at 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that evening at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home - San Diego. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 15, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Francis De Paula Catholic Church. Burial of Cremains will follow on a later date at San Diego Cemetery #2.
