Amelia V. Galvan

​Alice- Amelia V. Galvan, 85 years of age, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 in a San Antonio hospital.  Amelia was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and spending all her time in her yard. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Amada Villela, her husband, Crencencio Galvan, Sr., and a granddaughter  Geneive Galvan.  Survivors include, five sons, Chris (Irene) Galvan, Daniel Rene (Dolores) Galvan, Oscar (Elda) Galvan, Noe (Maria) Galvan, Jacob (Alice) Galvan, Samuel (Joann) Galvan, three daughters, Sylvia Galvan, Terry (Ron Chatman) Galvan, Ninfa Galvan, several brothers, sisters, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 8 a.m. -10 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in Alice with a Prayer Service at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery . Due to Covid-19 Pandemic  we ask that you wear a mask and the Funeral Home and Cemetery.  Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Homes, Inc. in charge of arrangements.
