Alicia Ibanez

Alice, Texas - Alicia Sanchez Ibanez, 88 years old, gained her wings to join her beloved husband, Felix Ibanez, Jr., on Saturday, December 21, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 12, 1931 in La Rosita Community to Pablo and Jesusa Gonzalez Sanchez. Alicia was known for her kind heart, she was sweet and full of joy up to the end of her life, she touched the hearts of everyone she met and loved working on her yard and loved her plants. Alicia is preceded in death parents, husband, and one son, Felix Ibanez III, one brother, Adan Sanchez. She is survived by her son, Feliberto (Martha) Ibanez of Alice, Texas, her daughter, Cynthia Canales of Edinburg, Texas, five brothers, Abelardo (Vicky) Sanchez of Alice, Texas, Richard (Theodora) Sanchez of Victoria, Texas, Eloy (Sylvia) Sanchez of San Antonio, Texas, Paul Sanchez of Alice, Texas and Francisco (Olivia) Sanchez of Victoria, Texas, sister-in-law, Lela Sanchez of Delaware, Virginia, 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren. Visitations will begin on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in Alice with a Prayer Service  at 7 p.m. that evening. All services  officiated by Pastor Domingo Rios. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home.
