Abelino C. Moreno

​Abelino C. Moreno 80 years of age passed away January 3, 2019 at his residence in Alice, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Juan L.Moreno and Maria Salinas Moreno.  He was a retired Truck Driver. Abelino was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Diana Moreno of Alice, two sons Carl (Deborah) Wyman Jr. of Dallas, Ismael Palacios Jr. of Washington, three daughters, Carla (Dale) Harber of New Braunfels, Vilma Gonzalez of Corpus Christi, Cookie (Bob) Gandy of Houston, one brother Arturo Moreno of Alice, one sister Angie (Richard) Barnes of Dripping Springs, nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. ​Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in Alice with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church and burial will follow at the New Collins Cemetery. Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home is entrusted with the services.
