Sylvia S. "Chole" Perez

San Diego, Texas – With great sadness and heavy hearts our beloved Sylvia S. “Chole” Perez, passed away, Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the age of 93.  She worked for Duval County and SDISD for many years.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; Reymundo Soriano and Maria Everett Soriano, her husband Rodolfo Perez Sr., daughter, Adriana Perez, son, Rodolfo Jr, sisters, Carmen Alaniz, Odilia Molina, Alba S. Garcia, brothers, Carlos Soriano, Jose Soriano, sister-in-law, Kena Soriano, and brother-in-law, Frank Garcia.

 Survivors include, daughter, Anita (David Vasquez) Perez, brother, Reymundo Soriano, sisters-on-law, Elda Soriano, Betty Soriano, brothers-in-law, Vicente Molina, Roman Alaniz, four grandchildren; Rudy (Elia) Perez, III., Serena (Adam) Contreras, Mario Soto III, Andres Soto, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin on Monday, October 13, 2025 @ 8:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service @10:30 a.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home- San Diego. Burial to follow at the San Diego Cemetery No.2.
