San Diego, Texas - Our family is heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, San Juana G. Soliz. She was welcomed into heaven on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the age of 93. She passed peacefully surrounded by family. She was born on November 23, 1931, in San Diego, Texas to her parents, Baudilio and Victoriana Garcia. She leaves a legacy of love of God, family, and her fellowman.

Garcia, numerous nieces and nephews. She was our Apostle of Prayer. She dedicated her life to her family and was ready to pray the rosary for anyone who asked for her prayers. She will be remembered for her love of life, infectious laugh and words of wisdom and guidance. She taught us the true meaning of grace, resilience, and what it means to walk by faith and not by sight. Her life was a living testimony to the power of prayer and the beauty of unconditional love. Though we grieve her physical absence, we celebrate the incredible life she lived and the love she gave so freely. Her love, spirit and soul will live on in each of us. During her long life, San Juana was very active in civic and religious organizations. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post #8931, 45-year member of the Catholic Daughters of America, St, Francis de Paula Altar and Rosary Society and was a member of the church choir for over 35 years. She was always ready to lend a helping hand in any way she could. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Mauro P.
