rSan Diego, Texas - Ruben G. Serna sadly left our world on July 29, 2024, at the age of 72. He worked most of his life as a warehouse manager at Lacks. Ruben did everything with so much passion, and everything he did was for his family. He enjoyed hosting gatherings at his home, especially the gatherings when his wife would make tamales. Ruben was a simple man. He loved his LazyBoy recliner and all the dogs he said he didn’t want. In his later days when he was retired, he enjoyed watching Western TV shows and movies and relaxing on his rocking chair outside. Ruben loved to make everyone around him smile. Every person who has crossed paths with him remembers his generous heart. He was a wonderful husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend.
