Ricardo G. Carrillo

​Benavides, Texas - Ricardo G. Carrillo (Riche), 76 years of age, went to be with our Lord on March 24, 2025. Riche survived cancer twice but the third time around the battle was too much for his body to handle. Riche worked in the oilfield and was also a CDL driver and later became a mechanic. He was fascinated by taking engines apart and putting them back together. Those who knew him well knew he was a kidder and loved to laugh. He always spat out a bit of witty humor to lighten a situation or when the mood got too serious. That was his gift.
 
Riche is preceded in death by his father and mother, Daniel and Emma Carrillo; his brothers, Baldero Carrillo, and Humberto Carrillo; and his sister, Maria Elena Saenz.
 
He is survived by his ex-wife, Diana S. Carrillo; daughters, Noemi (James) Netherlain, Eva Linda Rios (Francisco) Velma Lee Guerra and Arnoldo Leonel Carrillo (Rachel), his sister, San Juanita Carrillo; brothers, Leonel Carrillo and Joe Carrillo, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. 
 
A private service was held at the gravesite in Benavides on Friday, May 2, 2025, and was lead in prayer by Father George from Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church.
