 Ben Bolt- Jose Maria Morales, Sr. 95 years of age passed away Monday, November 25. 2024 in an Alice hospital. Mr. Morales was a retired custodian for Alice Independent School District. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather who will be dearly missed. He enjoyed watching Western movies and loved his beloved dog and best friend Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his parents Agustin and Maria V. Morales, his wife Elida S. Morales, two brothers and one sister. Survivors include one son; Jose Maria Morales, Jr., six daughters; Carmen Zapien, Josefina (Jose) Luera, Alicia Rios, Linda (Tony) Bartee, Rosita A. Morales and Graciela Fructoso. Numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home - Alice located at 600 S. Wright St. Rosary will be recited at 3:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Las Almas Cemetery in Ben Bolt, Texas.
