Israel "Panchi" Hinojosa

San Diego, Texas - Israel “Panchi” Hinojosa 33 years of age, passed away on October 10, 2025.  Panchi loved sports with baseball being his favorite sport. He worked with different Oilfield Companies and loved Carpentry and Flooring work. Panchi enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. He had a love for music and family. Panchi will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Andres Hinojosa Jr.; maternal grandparents, Jose Lucio and Amada Lamar Munoz; maternal grandfather, Moises Morin Sr.; paternal grandfather, Manuel Hinojosa; cousins, Javier Munoz, Jose Lucio Munoz, and Eric Galvan.

Survivors include is his son, Israel Hinojosa Jr.; daughter, Marceline Hinojosa; his mother, Mary Alice (Paul) Rodriguez; father, Andres Hinojosa; parents, John and Melissa Broquet; brothers, Randy Hinojosa, Ronnie Rodriguez Sr., Ronnie (R.J.) Rodriguez; sisters, Erica (Rey) Pena, and Elisa Cruz Torres; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Active Pallbearers: Randy Hinojosa, Marcos Vasquez III, Rigoberto Ruvalcaba Jr., Moises Morin Jr., Ronnie Rodriguez Sr., Reynaldo Pena, Reynaldo Pena Jr., and Tristan Ramirez

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 5:00 pm at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2025, at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church. Burial to follow at the San Diego Cemetery No.2 in San Diego, Texas.
