Marisela L. Sanchez

San Diego, Texas - Marisela L. Sanchez, 35 years old passed Saturday, December 14, 2024, after a short illness in a Corpus Christi hospital surrounded by her loving family. She had attended San Diego High School. Marisela was a former CNA for a nursing home. She enjoyed gatherings with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Elias Martinez, Sr.; maternal grandfather, Servando Sanchez, Sr.; and one sister, Janice Martinez; two uncles, Arturo Sanchez, Servando Sanchez Jr.; and one aunt, Virgie Ramirez.

She is survived by her common-law-husband, Jose Ramon Pena; two daughters, Hailey Marie Pena and Kailey Lynn Pena; maternal grandmother, Juanita Sanchez, her mother; Norma Suarez, stepfather, Ruben Suarez; one brother, Elias Martinez, Jr.; three sisters, Ruby (Carlos) Espinosa, Robbie (Randy) Canales and Erica Moya; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 9 a.m. till 10 a.m. with a Prayer Service at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home Chapel in San Diego, Texas followed by a Funeral Service. Burial to follow at the San Diego Cemetery.
