Grand Prairie, TX- Jose Maria Garcia, 71 years old passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at his residence after a long illness. He was a native of San Diego, Tx. and was retired from Dresser Industries after 35 years of service. He was a loving husband, father, great grandfather, brother and uncle. He was preceded in death by his parents Bruno, Sr. and Idalia H. Garcia, sister Bernadette Hinojosa. He survived by his wife Mary Lou Garcia of Grand Prairie, TX, three sons Richard Garcia of San Diego, Tx, Eugene Garcia and Jose Daniel Garcia both of Grand Prairie, Tx, one brother Bruno (Marie) Garcia, Jr. of San Antonio, Tx, sister Gloria Hinojosa of Alice, Tx, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitations will begin on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego. Vigil of the deceased with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. that same evening, officiated by his cousin, Fr. P. Nolasco Hinojosa, Jr.. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church officiated by his cousin, Fr. P. Nolasco, Jr.. San Diego, Texas - Idalia H. Garcia, 91 years old passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 in an Alice Nursing Home after a long illness. She was homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She was preceded in death by her parents Eugenio,Jr. and Lucinda H. He was a graduate of Agua Dulce High School Class Valedictorian in 2005. He had attended Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Dallas Baptist College. He was presently self-employed. Aaron was a loving son, nephew and cousin. He was preceded in death by his father Adan Hinojosa, his paternal grandparents Leocadio Hinojosa, Jr. and Zulema Rodriguez Hinojosa, his maternal grandparents Juan Rodriguez and Maria Garza Rodriguez. He worked in the oilfield industry all of his life. He was an avid hunter and was a devoted Astros fan, he was told that the Astros won the World Series before his passing. He was loved by his family and friends and will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Vicente Garza, his wife Santos R. Garza, sisters, Irene G. Taylor, Idolina G.
