Jesus Munoz III, 49 years of age passed away of June 14, 2017 in a Corpus Christi Hospital. He was a Desert Storm Veteran serving in the United States Army. Jesus was a Electronic Technician for 25 years. He is preceded in death by his Paternal grandparents Jesus and Elva Munoz, Maternal grandparents Juan and Beatrice Rangel. He is survived by his father Jesus Munoz Jr. of Premont, his mother Consuelo Munoz of Ben Bolt, two sisters Isabel (Orlando) Luna of Ben Bolt, Isela (Roel) Salinas of Floresville, one brother Juan G. "Johnny" Munoz of Ben Bolt, nephews Javier, Cody, Ethan, nieces Alyssa, Anissa, Andrea, Chloe, Avery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 21, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home of Alice with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Ben Bolt and burial will follow at the Calaveras Cemetery. Mauro P. San Diego, Texas: Mario Alberto Soto Jr. 48 years of age passed away on June 17, 2017 in a San Antonio Hospital after a short illness. Mario was a United States Army Veteran and served during Desert Storm. He was a commercial truck driver employed by Southwestern Freight Lines. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, a True Texan and Celtics Fan. His enjoyed having a quiet day watching old movies at home. He is preceded in death by his father Mario Alberto Soto Sr., paternal grandparents Aurora and Alberto Soto, his maternal grandparents Marina and Ramon Garcia, step maternal grandfather David G. Gonzalez. Survivors include his Fiancee Michelle Paiz of Mercedes, three sons Erik L. (Celina) Soto of Kingsville, Mario Soto III and Andres J. Soto both of San Diego, two daughters Marcela ( Michael) Gonzales of Kingsville, Serina (Adam) Contreras of Fort Bragg N. Carolina, his parents Imelda G. and Daniel R. Perez, of Alice, one sister MiMi Angela Lazo of San Diego, six grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 20, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm at Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home in San Diego with a Rosary recited at 7 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at St. Francis de Paula Catholic Church and burial will follow at the San Diego Cemetery No.2 with Military graveside services by the United Veterans burial association of Alice. Arturo was a former oilfield worker and cement layer for many years. He loved gambling and was an avid Houston Astros fan. His pride and joys were his grandchildren and loved spending all his time with them. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle and grandfather and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Estanislado and Beatrize L. Contreras Sr. and his maternal grandparents, Jose Hernandez, Sr., and Emilia Salinas and Father in law Francisco D. (Poncho) Gonzalez.
